Lynda Johnson co-founded Marathon Financial Advisors with Randall Morris in 1982 and has served as the company’s President since 1989. She has been CFP certified for over 30 years, providing financial advice and investment management to her clients. Lynda also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.
Lynda is a member of the Financial Planning Association and previously served on the Vanguard Group advisory board for three years. She is also actively involved with the Rotary Club chapter in Pacific Grove. There she serves as Investment Liaison for the club’s Legacy Fund and is a member of the Rotary Paul Harris Society.
Lynda lives with her husband in Pacific Grove. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading and hiking.
Matthew Johnson joined Marathon Financial Advisors in 2005 as an Investment Advisor. Prior to this, Matthew worked for six years at Charles Schwab. At Schwab, he worked directly with the company’s high net worth clients, assisting them with various investment and trading strategies.
Matthew received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. He has also received a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University.
A native of San Jose, Matthew currently lives downtown where he enjoys spending time with friends and family. |
